SENSORY WORLD

A new Sensory Room has been carefully designed for the children at Little Sponges Montessori. It is a quiet and relaxing room in which the children's senses will be heightened as they enjoy the benefits of sensory exploration with treasure baskets. The room is also equipped with a Dark Den for the children to explore the many possibilities of a sensory environment. This special learning environment calms and stimulates each of the senses and added projectors cast a magical galaxy of stars and coloured lights to create interest, colour and movement.

The Sensory Room also houses 'Touching Moments ….. sensory discoveries' which operates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Detailed information can be found on the sub-heading 'Touching Moments'.

Regrettably, DUE TO COVID-19, ALL 'TOUCHING MOMENTS' SESSIONS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
